Internationalisation.

Growing abroad starts with how you design your business. International strategy, partners and hands-on support for companies thinking beyond their domestic market.

What we mean by internationalisation

Internationalising a business is much more than opening an account in another country or attending a trade fair. It is a business model decision: how you define your value proposition, which markets you design it for and what structure supports it.

Companies that bolt international activity onto a model built only for the domestic market tend to encounter constant friction: pricing that doesn't work, channels that don't fit, partners that don't move. Those that design their model open to foreign markets from the start scale far more naturally.

That is why, for us, internationalisation is directly connected to strategy. If the business model isn't ready, the first step is getting it ready.

Our approach

We help design — or redesign — the business model so that international operations feel natural, not forced. The sequence is always the same: strategy first, execution after.

Strategy means answering three questions clearly: where (which markets, in what order, with what priority), how (direct entry, distribution, local partner, joint venture) and with whom (which allies you need on the ground to make it work). Once those three answers are clear, execution has direction.

Then we provide hands-on support: product or service adaptation, partner search and activation, trade mission preparation, and funding capture to finance the process.

What we do

  • Internationalisation strategy design. Market selection, positioning, entry model and roadmap with concrete milestones.
  • Partner identification and activation. We map distributors, sales agents, technology and industrial allies in target markets — and stay with you until the relationship is running.
  • Business model adaptation. Pricing, logistics, legal framework, cultural adaptation of the product or service — whatever it takes for the proposition to work abroad as well as it does at home.
  • Trade fair and mission support. Pre-event preparation, contact agenda, presence at the event and post-event follow-up.
  • Public funding for internationalisation. ICEX, Chambers of Commerce, Proexca, European funds and regional programmes. We identify the calls, prepare the documentation and manage the application.

Who this service is for

Companies looking to export or establish themselves in new markets that need a clear strategy before making the move. Knowing where to go, how to enter and who to partner with.

Companies already exporting without a defined strategy. They sell abroad, but opportunistically or reactively. They need to bring order to what they have and decide where there is more room to grow.

Tech startups that think internationally from day one and need to design a business model that scales without friction.

Canary Islands businesses looking to use the islands' position as a natural bridge to West Africa and Latin America — a geographical, fiscal and cultural advantage few European regions can match.

How we work

The process adapts to each company, but follows a clear logic: understand first, design second, activate with support.

Phase 01
International assessment

We evaluate the company's readiness to operate abroad: current business model, product, operational capacity, prior experience and available resources. The real starting point, no embellishments.

Phase 02
Strategy and markets

We select markets, define the entry model and design the adapted value proposition. We answer where, how and with whom — with data and judgement, not hunches.

Phase 03
Activation

We identify and contact partners, adapt what needs adapting (pricing, materials, legal) and take the first steps in selected markets. This is where traction begins.

Phase 04
Ongoing support

We prepare fairs and trade missions, manage public funding, monitor partners and review the strategy against real market data. The support lasts as long as it needs to.

The initial strategic plan can be ready in 6 to 10 weeks. Internationalisation as a process is measured in months — we provide support with clear milestones and periodic reviews.

Frequently asked questions

About internationalisation

Ideally, you think international from the moment you design your business model — before you need to export out of urgency. But if you are already operating and selling only domestically, you can still redesign your strategy to open markets in an orderly way. What matters is that the decision comes from a clear vision, not from improvisation.
The Canary Islands sit at a privileged crossroads between Europe, Africa and Latin America. The most common markets from here are mainland Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Senegal, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, and Latin American countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Chile and the Dominican Republic. But every business is different: the right market depends on your product, not just geography.
No. We work with companies taking their first steps abroad as well as those already exporting without a defined strategy. In the first case we design the full roadmap; in the second, we bring order to what already exists and identify where there is more room to grow.
It means finding the right people and companies in your target markets: distributors, sales agents, technology partners, industrial alliances. Identification is mapping candidates and evaluating them. Activation is making contact, negotiating terms and getting the relationship up and running. We don't leave the map in a document: we support until the relationship works.
The initial strategic plan can be ready in 6 to 10 weeks. But internationalisation is a process measured in months and years: activating partners, adapting products, testing markets. We provide support for as long as needed, with clear milestones and periodic reviews.
